Pre.Production part.7

This morning I have had a lesson on SWOT analysis. I have learnt that it is required to list my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

Listing these will identify things i can improve upon within my project as well help contribute to the development of documentation such as contingency planning and my evaluation at the end of my project.

Today’s lesson I made a SWOT analysis and wrote a 600 word report analysing my skills and techniques I will need to learn to complete my project.

Pre.Production part.6

I completed my Tutor feedback Evaluation and worked today on codes of practice referencing Ofcom, ASA.

Using this information I started what I found the hardest document to write so far; Red Bull Client Brief.

I constructed this brief to set myself the tasks that lay before me. This includes client requirements and specifications that I have discussed with my client. (Tracey Turner)

Pitch to Client feedback

Today I received my tutor feedback form two and got awarded a Distinction. I am very happy with this decision and feel that I deserve it.

This means I can keep working towards achieving a Distinction throughout my project. While my pitch feedback is fresh I will write a tutor feedback form evaluation this morning.

When I complete this document I will be approaching the last stages of pre-production.

Pitch to Client

Today I have my pitch to client. The Christmas break is over and I have been working very hard preparing my pitch to client.

I have used my tutor feedback form to work on my shortcomings that hindered achieving a Distinction.

I have taken great care working on creating a Distinction level pitch. Today I brought with me detailed storyboards, sketches, books and magazines.

Including enhanced visual aides, and practicing my pitch from a constructive script layout. I have specifically ensured I will produce a much clearer and steady paced pitch. Indicating what I plan to produce for my campaign and a wide range of techniques I will apply and learn.

My setbacks before Christmas never dampened my spirits, instead driven me to
Ensure I complete this pitch to a distinction level.

Over the holiday I identified my final proposal (Treatment.1) and created an in depth project proposal form, signed by my tutor Tracey.

The last thing I will do today is have a meeting with my contributor, Frances Lyndale and have my second meeting about time management this evening.
